Families are increasingly discovering this former farming village which centres around an ice skating rink with a free toy-like train running through it.
December 17, 2017 – April 17, 2018
Les Gets has 120 kilometres of terrain, with four green runs, 26 blue, 29 red and nine black. Choose between two ski areas on either side of the village. Families usually head to Les Chavannes, which has special zones for beginners and is linked to Portes du Soleil, while Mont Chéry is favoured by more experienced skiers.
Stay in a charming wooden chalet or hotel within easy access of the slopes, shops and restaurants.
Les Gets has a mechanical music museum and cinema, and offers activities including ice skating, snowshoeing, paragliding, dog sledding and bowling. Le Bacchus wine and tapas bar, the Aprèski terrace and Irish pub The Getoise Brewery are great for après.
