Nightly ski package incl lift pass – Hotel Grandes Rousses.

Location: A truly ski-in ski-out destination in the centre of the village – Alpe d’Huez.

At the foot of the ski lifts: leaving the hotel for the slopes, you have the choice of the Schuss ski-lift or the cable car which crosses the village and, when you return, you can take off your skis just outside the ski room.

The south-facing terrace with its unobstructed views of the Oisans Massif is perfect for enjoying Alpe d’Huez’s sunny climate.

The Fireplace lounge for fireside chats, snuggled up in a leather armchair with a glass of fine wine, a hot chocolate or a cocktail, depending on the time of day and your mood.

Restaurant

Our chef serves up rich, tasty meals from morning to evening in an unparalleled setting opposite the alpine peaks.

Breakfast: ahearty, varied and plentiful cold buffet with fruit salad, yoghurt, cheese, charcuterie, pastries and a variety of breads and a hot buffet with eggs, sausage or bacon.

Afternoon snack: for children and adults – during the school holidays – a fond memory of our childhood, with pancakes and waffles washed down with a hot chocolate with whipped cream or a glass of mulled wine.

Dinner
A la carte menu: contemporary cuisine designed to take you to seventh heaven. Classic dishes given a modern twist by our chef: Steak Tartare and Caesar Salad or Rossini Hamburger, not to mention local mountain specialities.
Table d’hôte menu: served every evening, with a choice of 2 starters, 2 main courses and 2 desserts. Flavoursome, home-style cooking.

Outdoor Pod Dining

Have you always wanted to dine outdoors under the stars, with the alpine peaks as your backdrop?
Well now you can at Les Grandes Rousses, in one of our wood and glass pods on the terrace.

Dine al fresco at any time of year (the pods are heated in winter) for a truly magical, sociable experience. So take a seat and enjoy our Head Chef’s stunning dishes, complete with a glass of wine hand-picked by our sommelier Vincent Carret, with the sky and the snow in the background !

Menu with a choice of 2 starters, 2 Main Dishes, 2 Dessert. Beverages not included.
Client can have their dinner “à la carte”, if they pay a supplement on site depending on the food they select.

Wine & Cheese Bar

Step into the cosy atmosphere of Les Grandes Rousses to enjoy a light dinner or even just to sample a glass of wine.

Connoisseurs can taste fine wines which are kept and served in optimal conditions. Thanks to our vinosafe wine cabinet, they can even be sampled by the glass. We have taken pains to select vintages and years which deserve special attention so we can offer you the maximum enjoyment for your money.

Our sommelier offers you the opportunity to experience wine-tasting, either blind or not, with a choice of 4 different vintages (4 x 3 cl) or 2 different vintages (2 x 6 cl).

Our selection of cheeses from around the world will take you on a tour of France and will also provide a chance to try other exotic flavours. You can also enjoy tapas or a charcuterie platter.  Tapas from 6pm !

Spa & Swimming Pool

What could be better, after a day’s skiing or hiking, than to slip into deliciously warm water to relax your body and mind. Our Alpe d’Huez hotel and spa boasts a heated indoor pool, a Jacuzzi and a sauna which are open from 10am to 8pm.

Our Alpe d’Huez hotel with swimming pool also offers sports or wellness massage and osteopathic treatments provided by Physioski. These can be arranged either in your room or in the spa’s relaxation area.

Fitness training in the gym facing the mountain. Designed to cater for professional and amateur athletes who come here to oxygenate their blood the natural way, our fitness facilities boast the best equipment available.
Our customers may use the facilities free of charge. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult The spa/pool area is not supervised and so guests using these facilities do so at their own risk.

Room types

Classic Room

Classic rooms are west and east facing and feature a balcony offering a view of the village and the mountains. They measure approximately 20 m2 and have a 160 cm double bed or 2 twin beds and a bathroom. Most have separate toilets. The rooms’ bathrooms were refurbished in spring 2014.

Facilities: Flat-screen satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. East or west-facing balcony.

Superior Room

Superior rooms are all south facing and have a balcony with a panoramic view of the village and the mountains. Measuring at least 25m2, they meet the requirements for a 4* hotel.
They have a 160 cm double bed or twin beds, a desk and a comfy armchair. Their bathrooms are decorated with local “Massif des Grandes Rousses” stone and their separate toilets were completely refurbished in 2013.

Facilities: plenty of storage space, flat-screen satellite TV, free Wi-Fi access, tea and coffee maker. South-facing balcony

Superior Family Room

Superior Family rooms are south facing and have a balcony with a panoramic view of the village and the mountains. Measuring approximately 30 m2, they have a parents’ room with a 160 cm double bed, a desk and a comfy armchair. Children can sleep in their own small room, separate from their parents’ room.
The bathrooms are decorated with local “Massif des Grandes Rousses” stone and were completely refurbished in 2013.

Facilities: plenty of storage space, flat-screen satellite TV, free Wi-Fi access, tea and coffee maker. South-facing balcony.

Club Room

CLUB rooms have views straight out over the mountain and the ski slopes. They measure approximately 25 m2 and have a 160 cm double bed or two 80 cm twin beds. All have a bathroom or shower room with separate toilet.
These rooms and their bathrooms are newly refurbished and renovated.

Facilities: Flat-screen satellite TV, free Wi-Fi access, plenty of storage space.

Additional child’s bed available on request.

Duplex Suite

Duplexsuites are all south facing and offer a panoramic view of the village and the mountains from their private balconies. These vast suites (measuring at least 35 m2) comprise 2 separate areas: a parents’ roomwitha 180 cm double bed, a desk and a comfy armchair and, upstairs, another room sleeping 2 or 3.
Their bathrooms decorated with local “Massif des Grandes Rousses” stone and their separate toilets were completely refurbished in 2013. Most also have an upstairs shower cubicle and toilet.
