Les Carroz ski resort
One of the closest ski resorts to Geneva Airport, Les Carroz is an affordable, traditional village popular with families. It lies directly below Flaine at an altitude of around 1,200 metres.

The Kédeuze gondola provides access from the village to the heart of the 265 kilometre Grand Massif ski area in just six minutes. Les Carroz proper has 15 lifts, with four green runs, 14 blue, seven red and four black.
A good choice of four-star chalet-style apartments and hotels are available.

- By car: Take the A40 motorway. Exit# 19 : Flaine – les Carroz, then road RN 205 to Sallanches, and on the left the D6 to Araches and Les Carroz. Or better yet, Top Snow Travel can arrange your shared or private transfer from Geneva airport.
- By Train: Closest train station is Cluses. Catch a taxi to Les Carroz which takes about 15-20min.

In Savoyard dialect, it could be a “crossroads”, the “crossing of paths” or a “scree slope”… but most of all it is THE resort founded in 1936 with the first draglift operational in 1939, the longest in Europe at the time.
