Bonneval sur Arc

The highest resort in the Maurienne Valley, Bonneval sur Arc is a small family-friendly resort centred around a beautiful heritage-listed village full of cute stone cottages with slate roofs. It is home to around 300 permanent residents.

Ski area

Bonneval sur Arc has just 25 kilometres of terrain, from an altitude of 1,800 to 3,000 metres. It includes eight blue runs, five red and two black. Lift queues are virtually non-existent. It is linked with neighbouring resorts via a shuttle bus, allowing access to 125 kilometres of terrain.


Stay in the historic village Bonneval or close to the lifts at the new village Tralenta.


Besides skiing, there’s an outdoor ice skating rink, opportunities for snowshoeing and snow biking and a children’s sledge run. There’s also authentic restaurants offering traditional fare, cosy cafes and pizzerias.


The village of Bonneval consists of two main hamlets:

The old village:
Bonneval-historic village church, museum, shops, restaurants , hotels , shops , holiday accommodation ( rentals , bed and breakfasts , cottages ) … Carefully preserved in its original appearance: stone cottages with slate roofs, no electrical son, cars tolerated in moderation, we strive to contain the outskirts of the old village.

New village / Tralenta:
At the ski slopes and lifts . Tourist accommodation is found there, hotels, apartments to rent , restaurants , cottages and bed and breakfasts , shops, boutiques , ski school . The Mayor and utilities (La Poste, taxis, ..) are between those two hamlets. It accesses the ski slopes, hiking trails and tourist activities from the old town and / or Tralenta.

Eski-Mo consists of five ski resorts spread across 300 kilometres of terrain. Aussois, Bonneval sur Arc, La Norma, Val-Cenis and Valfréjus are linked by a shuttle bus and can be accessed on one ski pass.

The Eski-Mo ski pass gives you the opportunity to stay in one of the 5 ski resorts and to ski 1 day in each other resort.
